DWP to Offer Rebates for Efficient Appliances

A total of $3 million in rebates, ranging from $10 to $500, will be offered to residents who buy energy-efficient appliances, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power announced Thursday.
Appliances purchased from May 11 to Dec. 31 this year that qualify for the rebates include Energy Star dishwashers, refrigerators, , and air conditioners.
Rebate applications will be available at www.ladwp.com starting in September.
