Florida Police Chief Huntington’s Choice
Huntington Beach has selected a police chief, pending the approval Tuesday of the City Council. Kenneth W. Small, 54, currently the chief of police in Daytona Beach, Fla., and formerly of the Los Angeles Police Department, is the candidate.
Small, who will be paid $141,000 annually plus benefits, would take office Oct. 14, replacing Chief Ron Lowenberg, who is retiring.
