From Times Wire Reports

When their pickup came to a rest after rolling five times near Greeley as the family headed home from Thanksgiving dinner, Titus Adams, 7, checked on his little sisters, then went for help.

In pajamas and wearing no shoes in 23-degree weather, he walked half a mile through a muddy field and squeezed under an electric fence. He spotted three men and yelled for help.

The two girls, ages 4 and 1, weren’t seriously hurt. Titus’ mother had a broken back, neck and ribs and was in critical condition. Paramedics said she might not have lived had Titus waited for help.
