Caribbean islands with airline miles

I have gone to the Caribbean -- St. Martin, Antigua, Grenada and St. Lucia -- four times in the last five years. As you mentioned in “If the Island Life’s for You, Now’s the Time to Make It Happen” (Travel Insider, Dec. 1), those islands are interesting alternatives to Hawaii and Mexico. The Caribbean is a cheaper destination than Hawaii if you use frequent-flier programs. American Airlines requires 30,000 miles to the Caribbean and 35,000 miles for Hawaii.
