Working your room

AS if rooftop roller coasters and drive-through wedding chapels weren’t enough, now you can add room-ready stripper poles to the list of over-the-top Vegas attractions. Catering to the twenty- and thirtysomething party-hardy crowd, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and the Palms Casino Resort both offer suites with special floor and ceiling mounts that allow for stripper poles on demand.

“The general idea of the hotel is just to have a good time,” said Greg Sheets, director of hotel operations for the Palms, where construction on two pole-friendly suites is expected to be completed by Monday.

Why go out, after all, when you can bring the entertainment to your own room? Neither resort will hook up guests with the talent, but in a city with one of the highest per-capita populations of women who make their rent in a G-string, finding one who can crawl up a pole and slither back down shouldn’t be a problem.
