Former Candidates Back Smith in 12th District
Three candidates who dropped out of the running for the northwest San Fernando Valley’s 12th District seat on the Los Angeles City Council have endorsed Greig Smith in the race.
The endorsements in the March 4 election come from Laura De Valencia, Tom Anderson and Dan Hoffman.
Smith is chief of staff to 12th District Councilman Hal Bernson, who is prevented by term limits from seeking reelection.
Other candidates are former Assemblywoman Paula Boland, L.A. Unified trustee Julie Korenstein, businessmen Walter Prince and Robert Vinson, and teacher/businessman/mediator Norman Huberman.
