Quarantine to Block Fruit Flies Is Extended
From Times Wire Reports
The quarantine intended to keep Mexican fruit flies from spreading beyond northern San Diego County will be extended into September, according to county officials.
The quarantine, which was imposed Dec. 5, originally was expected to last until June.
