Iran’s Help Sought in Row With India

Saying India is unwilling to make peace, Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf asked Iran for help defusing tensions.
Iranian President Mohammad Khatami arrived in neighboring Pakistan for talks on Afghanistan, a proposed gas pipeline across Pakistan’s territory to India and a possible U.S.-led war on Iraq.
Iran traditionally has had good relations with India.
