Officials to Meet Far-Right Militias

Colombia has named a team of officials to meet with far-right paramilitary groups to study their recent cease-fire declaration and their offer to begin peace talks, an official said.
The six commission members will consider the demands of the paramilitaries, which are behind many of the worst human rights abuses in Colombia’s civil war, and make a recommendation.
