Camera Work Is Cause for Film’s Poor Showing

Share

“Vivendi Yells ‘Cut’ on Universal Studios’ Budget” (Dec. 11) tells about Barry Diller having a meeting with his executives and dressing them down because of the poor opening of “The Truth About Charlie.”

I saw it, and at times I had to turn away from the screen as it made me dizzy with all the hand-held camera work.

Next time you green light a movie, tell the director to use dollies and tripods. It will make the movie much more enjoyable.
