49ers’ Morgan to Resign
Wayne Morgan, who had two years remaining on his contract, will resign at the end of the season, his sixth with Long Beach State.
Morgan, who has an 86-81 overall record at Long Beach and took the 49ers to the NIT in 1999-2000 with a 24-6 record, cited personal reasons.
The 49ers are 8-15 this season, 4-8 in Big West Conference.
