Jennifer Lopez may still have trouble getting critics to take her seriously as a pop singer, but she continues to come up with hits. Her new “J to tha L-O!: The Remixes” entered the national album chart at No. 1 on Wednesday.

The album, which sold 156,000 copies last week, offers revamped versions of the songs from her previous album, “J.Lo,” which entered the chart at No. 1 last February, according to SoundScan.Lopez ended Alan Jackson’s three-week reign at No. 1. The country singer’s “Drive” finished second this week after selling 150,000 copies. That brings the album’s four-week total to 992,000.

The only other debuts in the top 10 this week were by two pop veterans. Barry Manilow’s “Ultimate Manilow,” a retrospective, claimed the No. 3 spot by selling 113,000, while Sade’s live album, “Lovers Live,” finished No. 10 with sales of 66,000.

The remaining artists in the top 10, in order: Creed, Linkin Park, Ludacris, Nickelback, Ja Rule and Pink.

Presumably thanks to its Super Bowl halftime performance, U2’s “All That You Can’t Leave Behind” jumped from No. 66 to No. 25. The album has sold 3.4 million copies since its release in November 2000. B2K’s “Uh Huh” remains the No. 1 single.
