Short Suspected in $4.3-Million Blaze
A fire gutted a Burbank building early Tuesday, causing an estimated $4.3 million in damage, officials said.
No one was hurt in the 3:30 a.m. fire at Imaging Services at 3200 W. Valhalla Drive, said Burbank Fire Marshal David Starr. The company, which refurbishes X-ray equipment, has 20 employees.
Fire officials said they believe the cause to be electrical.
Owners estimate a $4-million loss in equipment and $300,000 in damage to the 10,800-square-foot structure, Starr said.
