Classical music may be big business, but individual gumption had a role in this year’s classical Grammys. A live concert performance of Berlioz’s spectacular opera “Les Troyens,” released by the London Symphony Orchestra on its own budget label, has trumped the major labels by taking home the best classical and best opera gold. As chamber music winners for its 21-CD Haydn set, the locally based Angeles String Quartet will go out with a bang when it disbands this spring.
