1 Killed, 3 Injured in a Series of Blasts

A New Year’s reveler was killed in a blast in Jakarta, the capital, and explosions on Sulawesi island injured three people, Indonesian police said.
In Jakarta, a hand grenade exploded outside a shopping mall, police said. One man died.
In Palu, the capital of Central Sulawesi province, blasts injured three people, including two policemen, and shattered windows at two churches. The province has experienced clashes between Muslims and Christians in the last three years.
