Meeting to Focus on Preserving Open Space

The chief deputy director of the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy will speak at the next meeting of Ventura Citizens for Hillside Preservation on Jan. 24.
Rorie Skei, also a board member of the Conejo Open Space Conservation District, will discuss the challenges of and opportunities for preserving open space in an urban setting.
The meeting will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 3290 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.
