Recycling Fees

Our representatives in Sacramento want a disposal fee on computers and televisions (June 26). We already pay direct and indirect “recycling” fees on various products. Where does all this money go? Recycling is not a moral obligation and should not be a legal one. What happened to market-based solutions? In America we are supposed to live together through voluntary cooperation, not mandated subservience to the political agenda of the day. What next? An “environmentally correct” recycling fee on our house or car?
