Frisbee Fans
Re “Counterculture Game Grows Up--Sort of,” July 6: Is Ultimate Frisbee struggling to “grow up,” as you put it, because it’s just a beach activity or because the media invariably portray it that way? You perpetuate the fringe amateur status of this great sport by relegating its mention to the California section of the newspaper. God forbid it should be in the Sports section. Perception is everything.
