A Ventura woman who schemed to steal thousands of dollars from her employer has been convicted of eight fraud and theft charges, authorities said.

Katherine A. Bordeaux, 38, was a bookkeeper for Ventura-based Intercontinental Realty when she used two schemes to steal more than $191,000 from the real estate management company, Dist. Atty. Michael D. Bradbury’s office said Thursday.

Bordeaux pleaded guilty to stealing cash deposits made to the company and to forging electronic signatures on checks she wrote to herself, Assistant Dist. Atty. Howard Wise said.
