I was beginning to think it was just me who thought King General Manager Dave Taylor made a huge mistake when he let assistant coach Dave Tippett and defenseman Philippe Boucher slip away to Dallas and picked up the team’s option on lifetime .500 goalie Felix Potvin.

Who’d have figured the Dodgers were such avid King fans as well? I mean, how else can you explain the team’s collapse since the first of July?
