2 Men Carjack Pizza Parlor Employee
Oxnard police were searching Sunday afternoon for two men who carjacked an employee of a pizza parlor as he walked to his car in the restaurant’s parking lot.
Police Cmdr. Tom Chronister said the men, one with a black handgun tucked in his waistband, confronted the employee and demanded his car as he left the Toppers Pizza Place in the 2000 block of Oxnard Boulevard about 4 p.m. Sunday.
The men headed east on Gonzales Road past Oxnard Boulevard in the vehicle, described as a white Toyota Corolla. The gunman was described as being 5 feet 9 with blond hair. He was between 30 and 35 and wore dark sunglasses, a black jacket, blue pants and a blue baseball cap, Chronister said.
No information was available about the second man, Chronister said.
