Ready? No Question!

I am writing in response to Agustin Gurza’s article on Paulina Rubio (“She’s Ready [She Says],” June 9). I am shocked that the editor allowed such a biased article to be published. I give Gurza credit for the detail and information he supplied. He did a good job pointing out her high points, but an even better one pointing out her low points.

If Gurza’s intentions were to make people see what kind of artist he thinks Rubio is, to me it showed unprofessional journalism with catty lines and remarks in every other paragraph.

Rubio summed it up perfectly when she stated, “I’m not going to change because of anyone.” That is why we fans, old and new, admire and respect her. And we think she is ready.
