Rosenberg’s Convictions

It takes courage these days to have convictions, especially regarding homosexuality if one differs with Howard Rosenberg’s opinions (“Valuable ‘Nick News’ Examines Gay Parenting,” June 18). He brands us as “haters,” even when we harbor goodwill toward gays while rejecting the act of homosexuality.

We once had as neighbors a lesbian couple that we enjoyed, helping each other with projects, being together on the ball diamond and, yes, even going to church together on occasion. But I reject the endorsement of this lifestyle on “Nick News,” even in the face of Rosenberg’s self-righteous liberalism. I only wish I could agree with Rosenberg; it takes less courage.
