Zuma Beach Bus Service Offered Twice a Week

Twice-weekly bus service between Moorpark and Zuma Beach in Los Angeles County began this week.

The Moorpark Beach Bus will run through Aug. 22, picking up passengers on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Moorpark City Hall, Arroyo Vista Community Park and Peach Hill and Griffin parks. The bus has plenty of storage space.

Departing trips leave City Hall at 9 a.m., Arroyo Vista at 9:10 a.m., Peach Hill at 9:20 a.m. and Griffin at 9:30 a.m. The return trip departs at 3 p.m. The cost is $1 each way, officials said.

A youth pass, which allows unlimited travel on all city buses through Sept. 15, is available for $20 at City Hall on Tierra Rejada Road.

A shuttle bus to the Ventura County Fair will be available Aug. 5 only. The stops will be the same as the beach bus.
