State Champion Bryant Commits to USC

Noah Bryant, who won the state title in the shotput for Carpinteria High on June 1, has committed to USC.
Bryant won the state championship at Cerritos College with a mark of 65 feet 7 3/4 inches and placed first in the Golden West Invitational at Cal State Sacramento the following week with a career-best 67-6 1/2. That effort moved Bryant to eighth on the all-time Southern Section performer list.
