Shoreline-Area Street Closings Set for July 4
To help control crowds on July 4, officials are closing some streets to auto traffic from noon until early the next morning.
The closures include eastbound Balboa Boulevard from West Coast Highway to 32nd Street, the blocks from 32nd Street to Prospect Street bordered by the beach, West Balboa Boulevard and West Coast Highway, and Seashore Drive from 36th Street to 51st Street.
Seashore Drive will also be barricaded at intervals to control pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
Exceptions may be made at the discretion of traffic officers for residents with identification.
