Marine Pilot Hurt After Bailing Out of Jet

A Marine jet fighter crashed into the ocean Thursday while participating in training exercises off the coast of Mexico, Marine officials said.
The pilot, who was not identified, ejected from the Harrier jet before the crash and was rescued by an amphibious warship participating in the exercises, the officials said.
They said his injuries were not considered life threatening.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
