Oh, They Haven’t Forgotten About USC

Share

David Bluthenthal, on behalf of all USC fans I’d like to apologize to you for Henry Bibby ruining the last moments of your stellar college career. People like you do not deserve to be “taught a lesson” in a game of that magnitude; people like you deserve to be on the floor giving your team a chance to win as you have so many times before. As you leave USC and probably the game of basketball, try to remember there are people like Henry Bibby out there. Stay away from them.

I don’t buy the “tired Trojans” who peaked early during the Pac-10 tournament. Heck, we’re talking 18- to 20-year-old athletes who should be able to run all day ... especially playing only twice a week! Being a competitive sports participant all my life, I always knew when we lost to a team we considered to be our inferior that it was our “overconfidence” that did us in. The Trojans played like the Trojans for only 10 minutes against North Carolina Wilmington ... and that made the odds exactly even.
