Valenzuela Gives Katella11-10 Victory in Ninth

Joe Valenzuela’s run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning gave No. 18 Anaheim Katella (17-6, 10-2) an 11-10 Empire League victory over No. 19 Placentia El Dorado (16-7, 8-4).

Keith Smith hit two home runs and drove in three for the Knights, who opened a two-game lead over El Dorado with three to play, including a rematch on Friday. Chris Wilson hit a homer for El Dorado.
