Three People Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash
Three people were hurt Saturday, one critically, when a hit-and-run driver crashed into them while they were moving a disabled car to the side of the road, police said.
The accident occurred in the 14000 block of Roscoe Boulevard shortly after midnight. A woman was steering a Toyota and two men were pushing it when a Hyundai Accent hit them, and the driver fled, officers said. One of the injured men was taken to County-USC Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.
The other two people were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The identities of the victims were not available.
Police went to the home of the Hyundai’s registered owner but found it empty.
