From Times Staff Reports
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office Saturday released the name of a man killed Thursday in a car-to-car shooting in Lynwood.
Humberto Godinez Jr., 21, a Los Angeles resident, was driving west on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard with a friend when he was shot in the upper torso by a passenger in a late-model Cadillac about midnight, said the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Family members identified Godinez, the coroner’s office said. An autopsy has not yet been done.
