Kid Clothes Say a Lot About Parents

Some drooling kid in smelly diapers wearing a $450 raincoat (“Busting the Piggy Bank,” May 10) only goes to show how easily fools are parted from their money. People are entitled to spend it on whatever they want. They earned it. It’s theirs. But what this says about them, their lack of sensibilities and their emotional need for display has to translate to their offspring that it is more important to impress with looks than with deeds.
