Sun Microsystems Sees 4th-Quarter Profit

Sun Microsystems Inc. will return to profitability in its fiscal fourth quarter ending in June, despite continued slow spending by technology customers, Chief Financial Officer Michael Lehman told investors in a mid-quarter update. Analysts expect earnings per share between zero and 2 cents, with the Wall Street consensus a profit of 1 cent per share on sales of $3.3 billion, a poll by Thomson Financial/ First Call showed.
