Man Slain, Friend Hurt in Apparent Gang Attack

A Compton man was shot to death outside a gas station Thursday night in what deputies called an apparent gang attack.
Terrell Williams, 19, was shot in the chest on West Alondra Boulevard about 10 p.m. His friend, Dewey Sanders, 22, of Compton, was wounded.
Police said the killer got out of a car and fired, then drove away.
