Bicyclist Struck by Car on Halloween Dies

A 34-year-old Camarillo man who was struck by a car Halloween night as he was rode his bicycle home from work has died from his injuries, authorities said Wednesday.
Josh Halpern had been bicycling on Central Avenue east of Beardsley Road when he was struck.
Authorities said it was dark at the time and the bicycle lacked reflectors.
After two weeks in the intensive-care unit at Ventura County Medical Center, Halpern was pronounced dead Monday. The driver of the car was not cited.
