2 Charged in Tiger Attack at Show-and-Tell
From Times Wire Reports
Charges were filed Friday against two women who lost control of a 144-pound Bengal tiger at an elementary school show-and-tell. The animal grabbed a 6-year-old boy’s head in its mouth.
Santa Cruz County prosecutors charged Anita Jackson and Melissa Lamas of the Paso Robles organization Zoo To You with violating the state Fish and Game code related to the public display and handling of animals.
The boy is recovering and has returned to school.
