4th Suspect Charged in Transgender Death

A fourth suspect in the death of a Newark transgender teen has been charged with murder, almost a month after Eddie “Gwen” Araujo was beaten and strangled, allegedly because it was discovered he was not a girl .
Unlike the other three defendants in the case, Jason Cazares, 22, was not charged with a hate crime when he appeared in court Monday. He delayed entering a plea until Friday.
