County Bar Receptionist Accused of Identity Theft
A receptionist for the Sacramento County Bar Assn. has been arrested, accused of stealing credit card numbers from more than 50 people, most of them lawyers, officials said.
Noelle Malone, 30, processed payments to the association, including membership renewals made by check or credit cards.
Malone was arrested last week on charges of identity theft and conspiracy. She allegedly shared the numbers with Tishawna Holeman, 25, a convicted scam artist. Holeman was charged with possession of stolen card numbers with intent to commit fraud.
