Proposals Sought for Housing Funds

Share

The Los Angeles County Community Development Commission is requesting proposals for a City of Industry Funds program allocation of more than $10 million, which will help fund multifamily, senior, affordable and special needs housing developments.

The Industry Funds program is the county’s largest funding source for new, affordable housing. It originates from tax revenue generated from Industry’s redevelopment areas and can be used within a 15-mile radius of the City of Industry.

Five previous funding rounds have allocated $85 million in Industry Funds, which will add 4,200 units to the county’s affordable housing stock. The program is scheduled to extend through 2017.
