They all swam at some point

It is beyond me why anyone who would be offended by live seafood (“Appearing Live, on Your Plate,” Oct. 23) would eat any manner of seafood at all, live or dead. If it bothers people that fish are killed, then I would hope they would stop eating fish sticks, canned tuna and smoked salmon. Weren’t those fish also alive once? I have talked with many people who eat meat but don’t want to hear about animals being killed. If we are bothered by the fact that animals die in order for us to eat them, why would we continue eating them?
