IBM Buys Software Maker Holosofx

IBM Corp. has bought El Segundo software maker Holosofx Inc. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Closely held Holosofx makes integration software. The acquisition will add products that link business processes such as inventory management and customer relations to the lineup at IBM, the world’s largest seller of computer services.
This is the third integration-software maker purchased by Armonk, N.Y.-based IBM in the last nine months.
IBM shares fell $2.33 to $71.87 on the NYSE.
