From Times Staff Reports
A fiery crash Thursday at the intersection of the Golden State and Ronald Reagan freeways left a badly burned man fighting for his life, the California Highway Patrol said.
Officers arriving at the 5 a.m. crash scene found an Acura Integra that had gone down an embankment and was engulfed in flames, said Officer Leland Tang.
The name of the driver, who was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, was being withheld until authorities could reach his family.
Highway Patrol officers said the cause of the crash is unknown.
