A little action, a lot of talk--that’s pretty much the shape of TV syndication this fall. Game shows will continue play.

“Caroline Rhea”: The tart-tongued former “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” star takes over the reins from Rosie O’Donnell in a revamped version of the celebrity chat show. (Premiered Sept. 2)

“The Wayne Brady Show”: The comedian--who appeared on ABC prime time in both “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” and a self-titled comedy-variety show--moves to daytime with a daily talk-variety series. (Premiered Sept. 2)

“The John Walsh Show”: The host of “America’s Most Wanted: America Fights Back,” who first came to public attention in 1981 as the crusading father of a kidnapped son, takes his message of victims’ rights, child advocacy and personal safety to a talk show format. (Premiered Sept. 9)

“Starhunter”: Set in the year 2275, the science-fiction hour stars Michael Pare (“The Virgin Suicides,” “Streets of Fire”) as a space-faring bounty hunter seeking fugitives and his kidnapped son. (Premiered Sept. 9)

“Beyond With James Van Praagh”: In the wake of the success of “Crossing Over With John Edward” on Sci-Fi Channel and in syndication, another psychic who claims to contact the dead launches a daily series. (Premieres Sept. 16)

“Dr. Phil”: Author and litigation consultant Dr. Phillip C. McGraw, a regular guest on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” launches his own series, in which one of the partners is Winfrey’s Harpo Productions. Drawing on 25 years of experience in psychology and human behavior, he is known for his tough-love, “get real” style of counseling. (Premieres Sept. 16)

“Family Feud”: The venerable game show returns, but with a new host: former “Home Improvement” star Richard Karn. (Premieres Sept. 16)

“Pyramid”: Donny Osmond hopes to ratchet up the cool factor as host for a revamped version of the show emceed by Dick Clark in its “$25,000 Pyramid” and “$100,000 Pyramid” incarnations. (Premieres Sept. 16)

“She Spies”: Given a sneak-peek run on NBC’s summer schedule, the action-adventure-comedy hour, starring Natasha Henstridge as the leader of three female ex-cons fighting crime for a covert government agency (say that three times fast), settles into its syndicated run. (Premieres Sept. 16)

“Who Wants to Be a Millionaire”: As its prime-time fortunes wane, the British-inspired game show--once a true TV phenomenon for ABC--tries its fortunes in daytime, with host Meredith Vieira (“The View”). (Premieres Sept. 16)

“Adventure Inc.”: In this action hour, Michael Biehn (“The Terminator,” “The Magnificent Seven”) plays a legendary explorer searching for lost treasures and solving modern mysteries from his expedition yacht--a revamped Coast Guard icebreaker--moored in a fictional South Carolina town. (Premieres Sept. 30)
