Supervisors Fund Study on Clearing Sewers
To help reduce sewer backups that pollute the ocean, county supervisors Tuesday approved spending $90,000 to help pay for a study on attacking fats and oils that clog sewer pipes.
Cost of the study is $500,000 and will be shared by the Orange County Sanitation District, the county and cities.
