AIDS Walk Oct. 5 to Assist Support Groups

The 11th annual Ventura County AIDS Walk for Life will be held Oct. 5, with registration at 8 a.m. and the walk beginning at 9 a.m. in Plaza Park in downtown Ventura.
Donations will benefit Ventura County’s two major AIDS support organizations--AIDS Project Ventura County and the Ventura County AIDS Partnership.
A kick-off party is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at Paddy’s Cocktails by the Sea, 2 W. Main St., Ventura. The cover charge is $10.
