Crash in Northern Ventura County Kills Motorcyclist

A man crashed his motorcycle and died Sunday afternoon in northern Ventura County near the Kern County line, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Coroner officials said Holden Raphael, 49, of Calabasas crashed about 2:30 p.m. on California 33 near Lockwood Valley Road.
No other vehicles were involved and the victim died at the scene. Holden had been riding with friends when he lost control of the motorcycle on a curve.
