* Reseda Cleveland’s Billy Spottiswood pitched a two-hitter and had a home run and a double in a 10-0 victory over Quartz Hill that was halted after five innings.

* Marcos Aldrete of Whittier had a grand slam, a double and drove in seven runs in a 16-0 victory over Whittier Pioneer.

* Nick Mahin’s run-scoring single in the eighth inning gave Cypress a 9-8 victory over Anaheim Katella.

* Manuel DeSantiago’s two-out single in the eighth inning gave Rialto a 1-0 victory over Arcadia in the Arcadia tournament final.

ON DECK

* Riverside Arlington, one of the season’s biggest surprises, tries to stay undefeated with a tough game today at Santa Ana Mater Dei.

* Ranked Century League rivals Anaheim Canyon and Villa Park play twice this week: Wednesday at Canyon and Friday at Villa Park.
