3 Boys Accused of Stealing $10,000
Three boys ages 9, 11 and 15 broke into a home, took a safe containing $10,000 and buried much of the money in a backyard, police said Tuesday.
The boys spent some of it on a Disneyland trip, said Lt. Darrell Cummings.
One boy’s mother went to the victim -- her neighbor -- after finding a Nintendo GameBoy and jewelry in her son’s possession, Cummings said.
After questioning, the boys led police to the safe.
