Go, Kucinich

Reed Johnson’s coverage of Rep. Dennis Kucinich at the Hollywood function read more like a gossip column (“He’s Champing at the Bid,” Aug 4). My mouth dropped open as I read snide and slimy sniggerings that made no reference to the voting record and character of this unique individual.
This nation faces crucial decision-making right now! The process from the Bush administration is one of militarization and privatization of governmental functions. Kucinich ... is one who speaks to a reversal of that process and a return of the government to the people, for the people and by the people.
