Accused Long Beach Sergeant Put on Leave

A Long Beach police sergeant accused of pulling his gun on a security guard during an off-duty confrontation has been placed on administrative leave, pending the outcome of an investigation. Leonard Gaeta, 53, posted $50,000 bail Thursday and was released from Orange County Jail, where he was booked on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon.
